We know that some patients may worry that phone queues are too long to call and cancel an appointment. The good news is that our phone waiting times have improved significantly.

If you no longer need an appointment, please don't leave it unused. A quick phone call can free up an appointment for another patient who needs it.

 

You can also cancel via:

✅ The NHS App

✅ Anima – log in, select Submit a New Request, choose Admin Request, then select Cancel an Appointment and complete the short form.

 

Please note that there may occasionally be longer waits during periods of staff absence or unexpected reception staffing shortages. If this happens, we will update the message on our phone system to let patients know.

 

Every appointment cancelled in advance can be offered to another patient. Thank you for helping us make the best use of our appointments and keep access available for everyone.
